Summary from Mangago:

The series centers on a man who desires to become an "adventurer" whose motto is: "I won't save the world, I just kill goblins." After hearing rumors about him, a female elf approaches him with a request.

Rating: M for gore and nudity

Goblin Slayer is a very typical and classic type of adventure manga where the main character is a hero who defeats monsters.

The only twist is how the main character only slays goblins despite his high ranking. A veteran who specialises in the art of hunting the lowest level monsters who causes the most number of deaths and destruction to new adventurers and civilians.

His awkward and jaded personality takes a twist in chapter 11's update when a Goblin mass attack is headed for the farm his childhood friend lived in. For the first time in his long and lonely career, the adventurer interacts with others.

It's heart warming to see how the main character has more than just a Goblin slayer. His mind works very differently from what many of us would assume, it isn't very much games. The Goblin hunts with the Goblin Slayer could very well be related to the situation we have in real life. Strategy is needed and careful analysis. His resolve is astounding which makes us want to know the reason behind.

The backstory as usual is a painful past but that's what makes a man more charming *winks*. Of course, the fact that the manga artist refuse to reveal to us his face even after nine chapters makes me frustrated. Then in the chapter ten, they dropped teasers of what he could look like.

Well, I guess I'll just need to stick with this manga to see where it goes and answer some of my questions.

All in all, I would rate it 7.5 out of 10 from what I am seeing so far. This manga is updating monthly so it is rather slow but I think it is worth following :)
