In this heart warming story, a forest golem finds a human girl and decides to embark on a dangerous mission to journey for her parents. The world is set where magical creatures rule and the human population are killed to near extinction. Golems were made without emotions or reception to pain. However, raising a human child on the go gave the golem new experiences despite his numbered lifespan.
It's something I highly recommend, the author has portrayed the ugliness of bigotry in humans and non humans here. The golem's empathy and understanding for the discriminating behavior between two races really gets us thinking about the world we live in. Can there ever be true acceptance?
I really like the story line and the illustration. I want to see how sensei develops the plot. It's one of my top recommendation for a different type of genre.
